Children working on a school HIV project based on EJAF funded web materials

The Elton John AIDS Foundation in the UK has made over £635,000 worth of grants since 2001 to support 4 major multi-year projects in Mexico. However, over the next 12 months we will be phasing out our grant making here in preparation for handing over the responsibility for Latin American grants to the EJAF US office.

We will therefore NOT be accepting any further applications for work in Mexico or any other Latin American country.

EJAF US is very excited to be taking on this new challenge and will be gearing up for the transition which will occur after the XVII International AIDS Conference, Mexico City in August 2008. Please check the EJAF US website for information on their grant criteria and how to apply to them after this point.

EJAF UK would like to take this opportunity to thank all the partners that we have worked with in Mexico and wish them every success for the future.
